Bu sonucu d\u00f6nemin bilim dergilerinden Science dergisinde yay\u0131nlanmas\u0131 sa\u011flam\u0131\u015f, b\u00f6ylece Kimyac\u0131lar\u0131n NMR cihaz\u0131 ile\u00a0canl\u0131lar\u0131n dokular\u0131n\u0131n\u0131 incelenebildi\u011fini kan\u0131tlam\u0131\u015ft\u0131r. Bu durum kanser hastalar\u0131 i\u00e7in b\u00fcy\u00fck bir umut oldu. B\u00f6ylece hastalarda kanser olup olmad\u0131\u011f\u0131 ameliyat edilmeden de te\u015fhis edilebilecekti. Ancak bu cihazla 3-4 mm\u2019den daha b\u00fcy\u00fck \u00f6rnekler incelenmiyordu. Ayr\u0131ca g\u00f6r\u00fcnt\u00fc elde edilemiyordu.
